A wonderful celebration assembly today, lots of wonderful work happing around school this week.  Well done to the two children in KS2 who raised the most in 'Reading Challenge Week', they have been rewarded with a book. Please look at the competitions page for the Easter Dolce competition.

Lots of celebrations this morning.  The Year 4 Quick Sticks team were awarded certificates for getting to the Allerdale Finals.  Mr Barton awarded the winning football teams with certificates after a half term of tournaments.  The children all celebrated Eco-council dress up day (Photos are in the Councils area).  Year 5 children celebrated Anglo-Saxon Day.  Mrs Clark spoke to the children about the Rotary Art competition too.  Children from each year group were celebrated for their hard work and excellent learning throughout the week.

Lots of exciting celebrations in assembly today!  Some children were celebrated for superb work during the week, some children were celebrated for excellent behaviour.

Children who attend wraparound won medals and certificates for a competition they were involved in.

A Year 5 child was celebrated for a riddle she had brought into school to challenge everyone (including the adults!).

We also had a visit from Mrs Hodgson who is the Cockermouth and Keswick branch manager of the Cumberland Building Society.  She presented a cheque to school for £250 to go towards equipment etc for the up and coming whole school Maths day.
