Year 4: Geography Fieldwork
Today, Year 4 had a fantastic walk around Cockermouth to see the features of the rivers Cocker and Derwent, which is linked to their Geography topic 'Rivers'. They were able to see many features, including meanders, a confluence, tributaries, a mouth and much erosion and deposition- particularly after flooding that has occurred in recent years.
