Values, Skills & Attitudes for Life Long Learning

We have designed our very own, bespoke approach to skills and attitudes for life long learning that links together our core school values, our PSHE Curriculum and our beliefs towards developing as learners. 

Children will use this when self-reflecting. 

Links are also made within our weekly school values lesson, which builds understanding of our school values linked to #teamFairfield. 

Each value is celebrated on a weekly basis. The value is launched in the Headteacher Assembly (on a Monday) and is then studied in the values lesson. A child from each class is also celebrated for showcasing the weekly value, in our Celebration Assembly on the Friday. The values are studied on a cycle. The Autumn term focus is recapping the value (definition and meaning) before exploring what it looks like in school (Spring term) and then in the wider community (Summer term).
