Nurture group had a wonderful day out this week.
Activities included making origami boats (following instructions), designing and constructing our own boats with the materials available, sailing our boats down the stream and then reflecting on our designs (what went well/how could we improve them?). Phew, all this before lunch!!
Everyone joined in the problem solving games working collaboratively within their teams. Crossing the 'swamp' with only a few stepping stones was a great challenge for us all.
Skipping was great fun and even the adults had a go!!!
We are all very excited about out next visit when we hope to go rock climbing.
