Statement: Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II
Thursday 8th September, 20:00: At the age of 96 and after 70 years of faithful service to her people in the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has sadly passed away. As the nation mourns the loss of our steadfast head of state, we send our deepest sympathies and heartfelt thoughts to The Royal Family at this very difficult time.
We will be hosting a very special assembly tomorrow afternoon to pay tribute to Her Majesty, celebrate her life and talk to the children about this significant event in British History.
For now, we join the country in mourning the loss of our beloved monarch.
